Easitag's Dye Tag is not an electronic EAS tag but is designed as an attachment to apparel for deterrence to would-be-thieves. Each Dye Tag contains two sealed vials of different coloured dye (blue and yellow) that will break and permanently stain merchandise if forced or not removed.
As it has its own pin, the Dye Tag can be used either in conjunction with the Easitag electronic HTE-100 & HTE-200 Round Hard Tags or fixed to garments with the Easitag Retainer.
