Do's
- Place the RF EAS tag on a flat surface
- Drop into the packaging.
- Secure all four sides
Don'ts
- Touch the adhesive side of the tag
- Bend the tag over 90o
- Place an RF EAS tag on top of another RF EAS tag.
- Use marked labels. These tags are designated as faulty. All Easitag labels go through a quality test prior to leaving the factory. Any tag within the roll that is found to be "marginal or defective during this process is identified with a black dash and compensated for by the addition of labels into a roll. There will always be 2,000 operable labels in a roll.
- Tag directly onto metals. This will shield the tag from working. Note: Create a 7mm space from the metal if tagging on a product consisting of metal. e.g.; battery compartment can be a safe area or if the product has plastic covering.
- Supply RF EAS source tagged merchandise to retailer without RF EAS systems.
